2013 Annual Conference: Becoming Me, Becoming We Orchids on the Harbor

July 18-21, 2013

Every summer, the AIS-DSD Support Group hosts a conference in a different North American city.  We come together as individuals and families affected by DSD for an unforgettable few days of support, education, and fun.

This year’s conference in historic Boston, Massachusetts will also include a new track for men with DSD.  As always, there will be programs on Friday and Saturday specifically designed for affected adults, teens, parents and families.

Registration and informal social gatherings will begin on Thursday late afternoon/early evening.  The traditional programming will conclude at noon on Sunday, and an exciting new advocacy program will be offered to those who want to stay through the afternoon!

REGISTRATION: Opens April 1, and space is limited – Please register early!

The conference fee will remain at the 2012 rate of $225 for those who register before May 15th ($25 Savings!), and $250 after that date.  Registration includes all conference workshops and meals on Saturday and Sunday and also includes your annual membership in the AIS-DSD Support Group.

Our great family rate is available again for 2013.  Additional family members may register any time for the reduced rate of $100, and just $60 for each child aged 2-12.  Children under 2 are free.

Childcare is available on site during the day on Friday and Saturday, on a first come, first serve basis – please register early to secure your slot(s).

HOTEL: Discounted conference rates have been arranged at a lovely Boston hotel convenient to everything, and include breakfast daily.  Discounted rates are also available 3 days before and/or after the conference for those who want to explore Boston further.

Current AIS-DSD Support Group members will receive registration and hotel information via email.  If you are not a member of AIS-DSD SG or the AIS-DSD SG Email Circles, and would like to attend, please contact us at aisdsd at hotmail.com or contact form for more information.

IN ADDITION: On Thursday, July 18, AIS-DSD Support Group, dsdfamilies.org, the Center for Young Women’s Health, and the gynecology, urology, and gender programs at Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School are co-sponsoring a day-long CME program for health care providers.

Hope to see you in Boston!
